‘GET KNOW YOUR LAWS’ PROGRAM

Do you know this feeling when you have just moved to Spain and, despite of the curiosity and excitement, you feel like everything is new to you and you are.. actually a bit lost?

With all the certainty we know that you will get know Spanish behavior, way of spending free time, food, drinks and – in general –  the sunny lifestyle very soon.

But, how about the laws that will be defining your Spanish life?

Madrid, making an extra mile, introduced the program called ‘Conoce tus leyes’, so Get known your laws, that will be run (for now only in Madrid) during this month of July with one, main objective – to make the foreigners aware of the Spanish regulation with regards to the immigration matters.

In ICS we really love this innovative and very unique idea that helps newcomers and all foreigners to get known their rights and understand all the immigrations issues they might meet along their first months of living in Spain.

The program is being run in Centros de Participacion e Intergracion de Inmigreantes (CEPI) and local Governments (Ayuntamientos) in Madrid community and any foreigner living is welcome to join.

During the informative sessions not only the Spanish immigration law will be explained in the most accessible way, but as well it will refer to the social aspects,  making the assimilation with Spanish day-to-day life and society much easier.

To sign in you need to contact the local CEPI office or Ayuntamiento and by the end of the course you will receive a diploma that will support your application for the temporary residency upon social arraigo or renovation of your residency authorization.

The course is free of charge and consist on the below modules:

  1. SPANISH CONSTITUTIONAL ORDER
  2. WAYS TO OBTAIN AN EMPLOYMENT IN SPAIN
  3. SPANISH IMMIGRTATION LAW & REGULATION
  4. YOUR INTEGRATION IN SPAIN

From ICS we would like to congratulate Madrid this great idea & hope to have it implemented across all the country!
